Volkswagen Transmission Oil Change in Espoo

Volkswagen Transmission Oil Change in Espoo

О замене масла в коробке передач

Proper and timely transmission service is the key to stable and long-lasting operation of your Volkswagen vehicle. At our service center, we perform oil changes in all types of transmissions, including classic automatic transmissions (AT), manual transmissions (MT), robots and DSG (Direct Shift Gearbox) of all generations.

Why change transmission oil?

Oil in the transmission performs essential functions: it cools, lubricates moving elements and protects against wear. Over time, oil loses its properties, becomes contaminated with wear products and stops performing its functions fully. This leads to deteriorating gear shifts, overheating and premature wear of transmission components.

Automatic Transmission Oil Change Volkswagen

Many modern VAG automatic transmissions are positioned as maintenance-free, but under real operating conditions, regular oil changes are necessary. We offer both partial and complete hardware oil changes in automatic transmissions:

Partial change

allows updating up to 40% of oil and reduces the risk of channel contamination

Hardware complete change

using specialized equipment, we update up to 95% of oil, performing system flushing

Important: on older vehicles with high mileage, sudden complete replacement may not be recommended — our masters always select an individual approach for each vehicle.

DSG 6 and DSG 7 Oil Change

DSG transmissions (robotic transmissions with two clutches) require a special approach. We service both DSG types:

6
DSG 6 (wet clutch)

Regular oil change required every 60,000 km
Filter replacement is also performed
Original VAG ATF DSG oil is used
Oil volume — about 6 liters

DSG 6 requires particularly careful attention: clutch disc wear contaminates the oil, and a clogged filter can cause serious transmission problems.

7
DSG 7 (dry clutch)

Clutch oil is filled for the entire service life, but oil in the mechanical part of the gearbox is recommended to be changed every 60–80 thousand km
Volume of filled fluid — about 1.7 liters
DSG 7 service helps avoid expensive repairs and extend mechatronic service life

Oil Change in Robotic Transmissions and Mechatronics

In some transmissions like S-Tronic (DSG equivalent in Audi) or other "robots" in the VAG group, separate oil is used for the mechatronic control unit. In most cases, its replacement is not required, but if there is contamination or malfunctions, it is recommended to perform diagnostics and, if necessary, replacement.

Manual Transmission Oil Change (MT)

Despite the relative simplicity of construction, manual transmissions also need periodic oil changes — usually every 60–80 thousand km. Timely renewal of transmission fluid:

Improves gear shift smoothness

Protects gears and synchronizers from wear

Prevents overheating and noise in the gearbox

Why trust us with VAG transmission oil changes?

Deep knowledge of DSG, Tiptronic, S-Tronic and classic VAG AT constructions

we consider clutch type, mechatronic operation and nuances of each transmission during oil change.

Use of original VAG oils and filters or verified analogs

we use fluids with precise approval (e.g., G052182A2, G055025A2, G052512A2) and quality filters from OEM suppliers.

Professional replacement equipment

hardware replacement with temperature and oil volume control allows achieving maximum ATF fluid renewal without risk to the gearbox.

Optimal approach to servicing high-mileage transmissions

we select the appropriate oil change method (partial or complete) to avoid damaging the gearbox and extend its service life.
